課程大綱Course Description：

本課程目的在培養嗜好作物、糖料作物、纖維作物、油用作物等之生產、改良人才。主要內容在敘述特用作物之意義、用途、成分、性狀、分類、品種、來源、分佈、適應、栽培、管理、收穫、調製、貯藏、改良、範圍及研究方法。

English Outline：

The objective of this course is to give students more confidence in their ability for producing and improving the recreation crops, sugar crops, fiber crops, and oil crops etc. The main contents of this course will describe the definition, usage, ingredient, characters, classification, cultivar, origin and history, distribution, adaptation, culture, management, harvest, manufacture process, storage, improvement, sort, and study method of special crops.

本科目教學目標Course Objectives：

1.以果樹、蔬菜、花卉、農藝、特藥用作物及園林景觀為主軸，建立熱帶農業科技基礎能力。 2.配合產業趨勢、培育學生具備栽培管理、生理、育種改良、生物科技及園產品處理等基本專業技術。 3.培育兼具現代科學基礎理論、應用、生產技術及永續經營之專業實務人才。
