課程大綱Course Description：

本課程會介紹環境因子跟細胞機制對腫瘤發生的影響，包括環境汙染物或荷爾蒙及細胞週期失調等。也會介紹跟腫瘤抑制基因、致癌基因、活性氧化物質、基因毒物或非基因毒物等對腫瘤生成的影響。此外，修課學生須選擇一篇跟”癌症”有關的論文來上台報告。

English Outline：

The course will introduce the environmental factors and cellular mechanisms of tumor development including the environmental pollutants and hormones and out of control of cell cycle. Tumor suppressor gene and oncogene, reactive oxygen species, and genotoxins and non-genotoxins are also discussed in this course. Additionally, students in this course need to do oral presentation based on one published paper about “cancer” to get extra points.
