課程大綱Course Description：

此課程主要目的在於探討車輛肇事時，可能面對之民、刑事及行政責任問題問題。在刑事責任方面，當事人受傷程度或死亡之情形分別有不同之刑度。在民事責任方面，侵權行為之損害賠償問題將是首先必須面對之問題，另外，過失責任之分配比例及賠償之金額多寡亦是抗辯時所應注意之重要問題。本課程將以實例及法院判決之案例為依據，讓學生更清楚保護自己之相關法律問題。

English Outline：

The purpose of the course is to discuss the relevant legal problems concerning the vehicle accidents. As vehicle accidents happened, several civil as well as criminal problems arise, which might bring some impacts on the two parties. From the aspect of criminal responsibility, the degree of crime would depend if the accident cause injury or death. In addition, from the civil point of view, the damages for tortuous conduct should be confronted first. “How much is the damages?” and “How is the distribution of responsibility to the parties” will also be addressed in this course. Based on practical cases and court judgement introduced in this course, the students, hopefully, can clearly learn to protect themselves.
