課程大綱Course Description：

本課程為應外系最後一門必修閱讀課，目標為強化學生閱讀能力、協助學生達到英語檢定CEF B2以上之實力。教科書內容涵蓋眾多領域如社會、音樂、心理、動物、環境、文學、流行文化等，以期學生能透過大量閱讀，提升英語能力、掌握時事並培養閱讀英文之習慣。

English Outline：

This course aims to boost students' reading comprehension to the CEF B2 level by immersing students in extensive reading that covers various dimensions such as sociology, pop culture, animals, psychology and popular trends. Students are strongly motivated to acquire a broad knowledge base through continuous exposure to reading in class and after-class assignments.
