課程大綱Course Description：

本課程首先講述台灣的教育現況與困境、探討教育改革的重要方向，並就其他國家的經驗，來思考教育的其他可能性。之後，就實驗教育角度，呈現目前台灣開放教育的模式，並探討可能的實踐方向。希望學生能因此對台灣的教育及目前教育改革方有深入了解，並成為一個懂得教育現況，又能跳脫出教育體制思維、成為獨立思考的人。

English Outline：

The purpose of this course is to help students understand Taiwan’s education system and the suffering challenges, and realized the education reform which taking place right now. After taking the course, students may gain an idea on educational reconstruction, and may obtain the ability of independent thinking about current education system.

本科目教學目標Course Objectives：

(一) 省思目前教育現況、困境，並檢視自己受到主流思潮的影響情形。 (二) 瞭解目前台灣在體制內與體制外的教育改革方向。 (三) 透過對體制內、體制外教育改革的了解與比較，發展學生獨立思考的能力。 (四) 透過實驗教育實踐方式的了解，體會開放教育的意義、價值與可能性。
