課程大綱Course Description：

本課程旨探討初生至八歲兒童的發展，內容包含：成熟理論、學習理論、社會情緒發展理論、認知發展理論、資訊處理理論、生態觀等理論基礎，以及各發展階段，生理、社會及認知成長之相關研究成果，並強調支持兒童適性發展的環境。

English Outline：

The course invalves the study of the child from birth to eight years of age including current theories of child development in relation to physical, psychological, and sociological growth and maturation. Emphasis is on the concept of the whole child and how adults can provide a supportive environment for positive interactions with children.
