課程大綱Course Description：

本課程主要介紹與植物生長與發育的相關機制與原理，建立同學學習植物科學之基礎。課程內容包括生長與發育基本概念，植物荷爾蒙如生長素、細胞分裂素、脫落酸與乙烯對植物生長及發育的影響，作物對於環境因子的反應等。本課程藉由介紹植物基本構造開始，後續包括植物構造形成之影響因子，植物如何抵抗逆境，並著重植物生長調節劑在作物栽培之應用介紹。

English Outline：

This course mainly introduces the mechanisms and principles related to plant growth and development. Moreover establish the foundation for students to learn plant science. This course includes the basic concepts of growth and development of plants, the effects of plant hormones on plant growth and development, and the response of crops to environmental factors. This course starts with an introduction to the basic structure of plant, and the follow-up includes the affecting factors during the formation processing of plant structures, the resisting strategies of plants during stress, and the introduction about utility of plant growth regulators in crop cultivation.

1.以果樹、蔬菜、花卉、農藝、特藥用作物及園林景觀為主軸，建立熱帶農業科技基礎能力。 2.配合產業趨勢、培育學生具備栽培管理、生理、育種改良、生物科技及園產品處理等基本專業 技術。 3.培育兼具現代科學基礎理論、應用、生產技術及永續經營之專業實務人才。
