The purpose of this course is to acquaint students with knowledge of basic principles and the application of plant taxonomy on the agricultural system. The contents include: Introduction of concepts in plant taxonomy, Introduction of ‘International code of botanical nomenclature’ and ‘International code of nomenclature for cultivated plants’, and Morphology characters and systematic taxonomy in major economic plant.
