Internet has changed the daily life of people, with the development of electronic commerce (e-commerce, EC), it has also changed the business models of enterprises. In this course, we introduce EC and its characteristics, and discuss how EC has influence on the economy, industry, business and individuals. The course covers a variety of e-commerce business models, online marketing strategy applications, and online consumer behavior analysis. We also introduce how the innovative information technologies will change e-commerce, such as FinTech, and sharing economy. In addition, how to conduct an EC related research will be introduced.
