This course centers on "design methods" and aims to develop students' ability to apply diverse design approaches through theoretical lectures, case studies, group discussions, and hands-on practice. Students will experience the complete design process, from defining design problems, data collection, creative thinking, solution evaluation, to prototyping and validation. The course also introduces methods such as interviews, brainstorming, mind mapping, SCAMPER, and shadowing. Through field observations and a final project, students will enhance their design sensitivity and practical implementation skills.
