This course is designed to teach undergraduate students about tropical insect pests, their damage, and methods to manage them. This course explains the eco-friendly control measures for agriculture and urban insect pests. From this course, students will learn the important concepts of crop losses due to insect pests, changing scenarios of insect pest problems, global climate change and its impact on pest problems in agriculture, integrated pest management, bio-rational, and other innovative approaches to insect pest management.
