Conservation Medicine shares a similar philosophy to the EcoHealth. One Health and Global Health concepts, but is also closely allied with the values of conservation biology and the management of endangered populations. It is an emerging discipline that studies the complex relationships and interactions between animal health, human health and ecosystem health. This is a multidisciplinary field and requires integration of knowledge of various fields such as veterinary and human medicine, ecology, biology, epidemiology, public, health and social and political science. Students are expected to enhance knowledge and understand conservation medicine from global perspective, understand disease of wild animals and its conservation aspect, able to assess, assimilate and apply scientific evidence to solve conservation medicine challenges.
