The rise of AI has increasingly highlighted the importance of big data, while research in data science serves as the foundation for AI applications. This course aims to equip students with a fundamental understanding of data science research and familiarize them with key technical concepts and integration applications. The course will introduce the roles and workflows of data scientists and progressively guide students through hands-on implementation of core techniques, including machine learning, data acquisition, cleaning and storage, natural language processing, and data visualization. In this semester (113-2), the course will incorporate **automation processes and the application of Large Language Models (LLMs)**, enabling students to grasp cutting-edge technologies and apply them practically in data analysis and AI-related fields.
