This course is an extension of "Sports Taping and Experimentation," focusing on the theory and technical applications of kinesiology taping. The course is structured over two semesters, divided into a beginner level (Ⅰ) and an advanced level (Ⅱ). The beginner course content introduces foundational principles and basic concepts through lectures, gradually building knowledge. Common musculoskeletal issues and sports injuries from daily life are used as case studies. This is complemented by hands-on demonstrations and practical applications, explaining when and how to use the techniques. Through guided practice, learners can learn by doing, making it an easily accessible professional skills course. Additionally, the course aims to incorporate an English learning environment by the subjects that students are more interested in. This passive approach will help instill professional knowledge, allowing students to initially grasp foundational concepts in English. Subsequently, they will be encouraged to actively practice and apply techniques in English, enhancing their potential to demonstrate their skills after graduation. Therefore, the course will be taught using the English Medium Instruction (EMI) approach.
