This course deals with the fundamental knowledge of animal production. 1.Introduction - The definition of animal Science and Function of animal. 2.Livestock Judging - Judging of dairy cattle ,Beef cattle, Swine,Sheep and Poultry. 3.Animal Breeding-Mendel's Law,Genes, The methods of animal breeding,Selection of animal ,Artificial insernination.4.Animal Feeding-The function of feeds, Balanced ration Nutritive needs (protein,energy,minerals, Vitamins and Water),Hand Feeding ,Self feeding, deep feeding and Feed preparation. 5.Beef Cattle,Dairy Cattle ,Swine, Sheep,Goat-Breeds, Reproduction and Raising ,Feeding and management, etc.
