Psychology is one of the required social work core courses of undergraduate program, necessary for being qualified for taking the social work licensed exam. Three credits in total, taught in the first semester of the first year. Psychology is designed to acquaint the student with scientific psychology, to provide opportunities for critical and integrative thinking about issues within psychology, and to prepare the student to effectively apply the results of psychological research to pragmatic problems. This Psychology class requires students to take final exam, in addition, and it asks students to submit assignments of group film introduction and in-class discussion. This course encourages students' input in familiarizing themselves with basic library resources, in order to maximize their learning experiences.
