The Strengthening Social Safety Net Plan is currently the most important plan of the government to promote social welfare services. It emphasizes cross-professional and cross-network cooperation to build a family-centered and community-based service model. The second phase of the plan mainly includes four strategies. The first is to expand the resources and services of the social welfare center to provide accessible services. The second is to optimize the delivery of protective services and improve risk control. The third is to strengthen mental illness and suicide prevention and treatment services, and improve front-end prevention and crisis management. The fourth is to strengthen the deployment of ministry network resources and expand public-private collaborative services. The content of this course covers the spirit, goals and key projects of the social safety net program, the connotation and practical treatment of the four major strategies, and on-site visit study to promote students' understanding of the strengthening social safety net plan and familiarity with relevant knowledge and services.
