The course has four semester hours (2 lectures and 2 labs). The purpose of computer aided drafting is to help the student practice the professional CAD Software CATIA. Learning is reinforced through laboratory workshop that could be used to measure student understating. This is a training course in computer aided drawing/design. Students will learn CATIA tools, multi-view drawing, kinematic simulation and dimensioning techniques. For successful completion of this course a comprehensive examination over the use and execution of CATIA will be required.
