The purpose of the course is to provide the students with an understanding of decision-making approaches that can be used to improve a manager’s decision making. We examine how decisions are made and how the process can be improved. The course covers the following subjects: 1. Nature of Decision Making; 2. Describes the Decision Maker and Decision Styles; 3. Discusses Managerial Decision Style Application; 4. Covers the Elements of Decision Style; 5. Introduces Decision Making in an Organizational Context; 6. Relates Decision Making to the Organization’s Culture; 7. Decision-Aiding Tools; 8. Examines the Impact of Environmental Changes on Decision Making.
