The specific goal of this course is to promote students skills of ‘oral communication and listening comprehension through weekly exercises of conversation or panel discussion. This course provides different kinds listening activities so that students can comprehend with short dialogues, monologues, stories, and speeches. In this course, students’ll learn useful expressions, common conversation patterns, and communication skills from various topics on the recommended textbook. Later in the semester, students are expected to enrich their vocabulary, ideas, and knowledge for daily conversation by reading English newspapers and watching English newscasts and other educational programs and resources.
