This course introduces the basic principles, environmental conditions, and cultivation for horticulture science. It contains horticulture crops classification, growth, and metabolism, environmental factors (light, temperature, water physiology, air, soil, etc.), flowering conditions, and plant propagation. Students can know horticultural technology and industry and understand horticulturists in the world to provide nutrients and food, improve the environmental quality of life, beautify the landscape, the economic importance and role of medical utilization.
