This course aims to explore the fundamental principles, applications, and innovative technologies of modern energy technologies. Students will learn about various energy sources, including fossil fuels, renewable energy, and nuclear power. They will understand their applications in different fields and innovative technologies. In alignment with the 2050 Net Zero Carbon Emission policy, students will also gain insights into current government initiatives. Additionally, the course incorporates the "Design Thinking" methodology promoted by the Stanford University Design School. This methodology involves Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Test, training students in creative and innovative thinking.
